Passengers stopped pedaling? Cheap flights are not always cheap - lol.

"No one was hurt, but there was a lot of screaming"
...a bit like a ride on the Waltzers then...

Well maybe they will understand not to unclip the seat belt as soon as the plane touches down now! Speaking to THY staff recently they said the biggest problem was Ercan, quote " They do not think the rules apply to them"

It annoys me that they say they are cheap flights when they are not cheap!

I am reliably informed they asked for a emergency delivery of fresh underwear.

Love Pegasus quote "The local governor, Yucel Yavuz, said an investigation had been launched into the incident - which Pegasus Airlines described in a statement as a "runway excursion".

What staggers me is the fact that the runway is so close to the cliff edge in the first place!

Sophie, Have a look at Gibraltar and Hong Kong if you don't like that runway. Ballykelly used to be fun as well - lol.

Haha, I flew out of Gibralter 1969 & our backs were nearly parallel to the ground & straight out over the sea........

Madeira landing strip extends into the sea when you land you are just a few feet from going for a swim.

Punta Gorda? Never managed to fly into there BUT did drive up to there from APC through the mountains and Orange - magic trip for blue jobs who could not get a lift in anything with wings or rotors - something about the land rover and trailer we had they would not take us, boo. Wonderful memory's of living next door to F troop whilst on base - ah those were the days of one barrel and Rosies with the eternal cry of "No cold Charger Beer". So long ago but thank you for the reminder. I still think the APC runway was the best one to watch I have ever seen, TACA and TANA, the two local airlines both landing together - towards each other - from different ends of the runway, a true sight to see! For real excitement you needed to take a trip on the local aircraft down in the Falklands through - never did figure out how they stayed in the air or landed on some of the strips there - much more dodgy than flying the Eric's.

Don't do it Kanonier!!! In this new world of PC anything you write can be offensive so just let everyone make up their own words. I always understood their logo but I see it has changed: https://taca.alternativeairlines.com/ I remain amazed that they are still flying - lol.
