Are there any charities or such like that are taking donations of books,both paperback and hardback.Thanks

Alternatively, consider giving them to the little Library behind the Post Office in Girne - or give 'em half each

KAR would gratefully accept your books, the charity has a book stall at Lambousa on a Saturday.
