I have a imported Toyota fun cargo with built in CD DVD etc all messages and warnings are in Japanese.
Has anyone managed to get the language swapped to English?

No!

Because the model fitted to our Nissan is designed specifically for the Japanese market with no English language manual etc we have given up on changing and instead have learnt Japanese!! LOL

Concur with the response above - can't even adjust the clock as it is linked to a satellite transmitting Japanese time! Nice car though.

Agree with the above. Even the garage where we bought the car (one of the best in Lefkosa) can't translate most of the stuff that comes with the cars. We even tried to see if we could get a Turkish, German or French version to help us, but no chance!!

From our investigation, the model of cd etc on our car is made specifically for Japanese market. Seems the universal models are put into cars exported on manufacture. Our car, as are the others above are all used models imported from Japan.

If anyone comes up with a solution then I am sure a couple quid will be exchanged!!!! That said I would miss the nice Japanese lady telling me to put my seat belt on!!!
