Anyone know where to get a large fairly heavy Tunisian Hand woven rug/carpet cleaned. I bought it as new second hand and it was only when I got it home that I read a Tunisian Government Hand Woven Top Quality Certificate. I may have had a bargain but is it going to cost an arm and a leg to get cleaned ?. I treat the thing with respect but my two dogs insist on sleeping on it !.
Any suggestions please.

Off the cuff I don't remember the name, but there are a couple of places. If |I remember I will aks in Super Clean who they would recommend. Or if you know the people in Super Clean \(opposite gloria \jeans in Kyrenia) you could ask them. theydon't do rugs (well they didn't last time I asked) but they certainly know who do.

There is a place behind one of the petrol stations along from the roundabout to central girne. We had a rug done there recently. they have some sort of a round tunnel thing which I believe the rug goes through. Might be worth a look. I know its NOT the one nearest town, may be the middle one, and its down the left hand side. May not be suitable for a "posh" one though!!

Thanks for the info. Did not pay 'posh' price for it, so was somewhat surprised to find that it may be 'posh'. Heres hoping 10tl per sq mtr is going to be the case.

most car washes will pressure wash it for you and now its warming up a bit should dry out quickly
