I have tried every supermarket in the Catalkoy / Ozankoy areas. Need it to go with gin. Tried a couple of weeks ago and only 1 had it then. They seem to be stocking orange Schweppes and Bitter lemon but for some reason no TONIC WATER.

Maybe no one else drinks G & T.?!

Any siting would be appreciated.

Illeli normally stock it, but haven't had any in for a while, which makes me inclined to wonder if we're waiting for the boat to come in...

Cape Wines near Supreme have the small cans, with the rare treat of the sugar-free version as well - I know it's more expensive, but we can't have you getting FAT (like me) can we?

its been out of stock for a while not even the little shops have any left

Erdener usually have it-although I am stocked up so have not needed to buy for a couple of weeks.
That Fruco tonic really is appalling,way way too sweet,and not gassy enough in my opinion-It should be banned.

Have you tried Hur deniz, they stock most things?

No, that was the ONLY one I didn`t try. Is the one nearer to Girne bigger than the one near Supreme.?

And I think the last batch i bought from Erdeners...............as Keith said, maybe they are all waiting for the boat.

I have been looking for it myself for the last month and there is none about and until yesterday I had not seen any (should I say it ..??) in the South either. I finally got some 1.5ltr bottles yesterday in Alphamege so 'maybe' it will start to appear over here again, fingers crossed.

Also if anyone sees bottled Britvic Ginger Ale, my hubby loves this with his whisky and can't get any other than the little cans which are the spicy version please let us know on here.

Scoobydoo's post has just made me realise that it's small cans of Britvic mixers that cape Wines stock - not Schhhhh, you know who...

Tempo in Catalkoy have the small slimline cans in stock as well as the Schweppes bottles.

Schweppes tonic water is becoming as rare as hens teeth (The Schweppes boat hasn't docked for months now) and the Slimline hasn't been seen on shelves since June or thereabouts. Lema sell the crappy Schweppes Lemon and Orange but not tonic water. Even the little cans are fast disappearing in all the shops. Bit like the early days when there was great excitement when the defunct shop (now the HSBC) had a delivery of Heinz Beans and HP sauce. They had to ration them to two bottles per person. Sad but true!! How things have changed in 8 years.

They sometimes sell the big bottles in tempo at Karaoglanoglu, but none at the mo! They do have the small bottles but they are about 1.25tl each! Only solution is neat gin, after a couple of those you won't care about the tonic

i agree its just a case or more gin and less tonic so far i have managed to get 4 gins to a small bottle of toinc cheers!!!

Now that does make the small bottles excellent value for money

Wine Up in Karaoglanglu (on the right before Lemar coming from Girne) had a stock of litre bottles last week. Really good prices for decent wine as well.
