Credit where due

As I often despair at the level of customer service here in the TRNC, I thought it only fair to come on the Forum and say a big thanks and give a recommendation to Ziggys Garage Alsancak.
When our car broke down in the middle of nowhere we were well and truly stuck but in the glove box I found a couple of cards for mechanics and rang the first to hand which was Ziggys. He organised a breakdown truck that arrived within half an hour and us and the car were delivered to Ziggys where he made an instant diagnosis (laughed at mine) and drove us home. Within a couple of hours he confirmed the fault by phone, told me what was required and gave me a "ball park" figure. The day after next he rang to say it was all ready and came to the house to pick us up and take us to his garage to be reunited with the car. The cost was exactly what he had said and the car runs better than ever. He made what could have been a very stressful experience painless and I've found a mechanic I can trust.
