Hi
Does anyone know where I can get a small gas bottle for camping stove? Are the DIY places closed till next week? Ours is running out and as no power last night till this morning wanted to be prepared!! Especially as only got electric hob.

Don`t know that area well. Hopefully someone else can help but think you may have a problem till Bayram is over. We got ours from Cagra Karakam.

you can get a burner attachment from most yappi markets and gaz shops they fit onto the small local gaz bottles which most petrol stations and shops sell
if you get stuck i got one you can borrow

Thank you Andrew, will try the petrol stations. I may take you up on the offer if cant get sorted. There is some gas left in bottle so hopefully will be enough to make cuppa

We got one last week at Ileli market in Alsancak. 9 TL.
Take your empty one and show them as they don't always have them out front with the bigger gas bottles.

Thank you everyone, I now have a stash of gas cylinders, so you will be pleased to hear we probably won't have any more power cuts
