Does anyone know a sourse to purchase this product in TRNC. I know you can buy it in medical form at Chemists but need it to restore my outside banboo furniture. Have tried my local Yapi and DIY stores. May have to go south if it's not available here.Thank you.

I managed to buy one bottle at Coban in Catalkoy (they onky had one labelled in English) Needed more and bought what I thought was the local equivalent - took ages to dry and is still sticky in patches 15 months on !!

You could try the boating shop on the cobbled pathway down to Girne harbour near the top of the high street. From memory, it's after you pass the jewellery shop on the left hand side, there is a small street heading to the right and it's just there...I almost missed it, thinking it was on the actual path leading down to the harbour.

The Turkish name for linseed/flaxseed oil is Keten tohumu yağı. Perhaps showing that in the yapi market might help.

Thank you all for your response. Will try the boating shop. I did translate the English into Turkish Come on aylin on the phooter and went armed with this to the Yapi Market. They sent me to Lemar. Olive oil section. Looks like I Will have to go south or wait for our annual visitors from the UK . Must say it really brings out the colour and texture on the bamboo furniture.

Sell it all over the south. Leroy merlin the shop next to it and also super homes . Was there yesterday and will be going again soon. Give me a call if you can’t get any and I will get some for you
