Does anyone know what the rules are regarding flying drones in northern Cyprus. My son is thinking of bringing one over but can only find information relating to the laws in the South.

They got lots of them for open sale in mr pund plus so I presume no problem

Having flown a friends at my house and having a neighbour call the police, the (lapta) police told me that as long as it was flying above my own land and not my neighbours then it was fine. As to if this is the law or not, I can not say but it is what the lapta police told me. I did not ask about flying over 'public' land.

The real difficulty might be a clash with the military... so be sure to avoid the army bases.
