In the Turkish press and LGC news;

Seemingly Atlasglobal are stopping serving Ercan from Turkey on April 25.
From what I can work out they are also not flying from Stansted to Istanbul.
Obviously this will be problematic for passengers already booked for the summer.

Coming out next monday and back to UK on 11 June, both with Atlas so checked with them this morning. Only some flights affected and those that are will be offered alternatives. Skyscanner is showing some curious combinations of carriers to Stansted after the 25th, presumably to take up the slack

Shame. Less competition will invariably lead to higher flight prices.

I have three different lots of flights booked in June July and August for different family members. I contacted Atlasglobal this afternoon by email via their website and they called me back straight away saying that the only change was that the Ercan flight would be 20 minutes later.

BRT gave this out on their news at 2pm, but friend of mine contacted Atlasjet to be told the news is incorrect!

Sounds a bit like "fake news" yet again. There's a lot of it about!

Just had an e-mail confirming that they have cancelled my flight on the 12th May IST - ECN @ 08.55. I was able to get a refund less 15tl service fee, which i think is a cheek as seen as it was them who cancelled it.

Just booked with Turkish airlines leaves an hour later.

Take a look at Atlasjet official web site, it is false news.

My return flight Ercan to Istanbul on Sunday 22/4 was cancelled, phoned them and am going back a day earlier. No charge. They told me no more Sunday flights Ercan to Istanbul. As I had a connecting flight onto Stansted, they changed it to a day earlier. ( could have had later too). This was all back in March.

Email received today from Atlas Global, saying flights in june and August postponed to following day, however in the SAME email, the message is that the reservations we made have been cancelled and to contact them regarding a refund!.
