Lapta Coastal Path update

We went for an early morning walk on the coastal path today and were pleased to find it now fully open with all three bridges operational.
From end to end I believe it is 3.2km (2 miles) and at an easy pace it took 80 minutes to walk it in both directions.
Was also pleased to see Lapta Belediyesi workman busy repainting the railings.
Despite some negative comments recently we found the wooden walkways on the bridges to be secure and safe.
In my opinion I think we are lucky to have such a facility so close to us, either for those who just want to stroll or those using it for exercise.
But for others there is the attraction of four bars along the route - Sardunya, Zhini's, the Fitness Centre and Silver Rocks!!

Thanks for that Paul, does that mean there and back in 80 minutes, even if you stop off at all 4 watering holes?

Walked the full coastal path yesterday, there and back and stopped in one of the watering holes; what a fantastic facility. Must be the most expensive footpath in the world with its three bridges, concrete walls and block paving.Never the less really enjoyed the walk which took me about an hour and a half.

Our watering hole is the Cabin for coffee and Zigie? gives you biscuits and sliced oranges, such a nice gentleman he loves to have a chat. Thank you for the update, the extension wasn't finished when we came back to theUK in February.
