Setting up - How long???

We arrive in North Cyprus to start setting up our house at the end of June. We need to get the water and electric turned on. They are already connected so should just be a case of going to the offices in Girne with the purchase certificate from my advocate.
With regards to booking accommodation, whilst this gets sorted out, how many days should I allow? Will 3 working days be enough?
I’m hoping that yatsan can at least deliver a mattress within this time period too with bed frames to follow at a later date. Worst case scenario, get a blow up matress from sports direct.
Any advice / tips on the initial move to NC would be very much appreciated.
Thanks

Hi regarding the electric this is switched on straight away. Take a copy of the owners passport and either your title/contract and the slip you get from the tax office otherwise they send you out to take a copy . The waiting system is via a numbered ticket can be up to an hour depending how busy they are but you can always take a ticket and go for a coffee if its very busy. You need to fill in a one page form but they do it for you just telephone and basics they are very helpful. Be prepared to pay a deposit of 3 x 469 tl for foreigners . Then after you have paid this they give you a document to take upstairs . The electric will be switched on immediately. The kibtek office is in the centre in the tourist area its just before simit dunyasi which is a turkish simit cafe . You can do the photo copying in a small shop over the road down from kibtek.

Thanks for the reply. Silly question, perhaps, but do the offices accept cash / card / both?
