I can't usually stand to watch the horse trading and downright anti-UK voting taking place but this year's contest just got a bit more involved... Cyprus have got through the semi-final but Greece did not... so no exchange of 12 outrageous ethnically biased votes can take place this year... oh dear, what will they do?

But they will refer to the "Only divided capital in the world" when they give their vote

But of course they will... leaving out the fact that their escalating violence towards an ethnic minority was the catalyst that led to the division of that capital... still forty four years on it's still the myth of victim-hood that shrouds their every waking moment...

I wouldn’t get too excited. The UK entry was on The Graham Norton show last week. Absolutely woeful. Certainly no Bucks Fizz, put it that way.

I watched a repeat of the semifinal last night and they showed a brief preview of the UK song and crap it certainly was. How the hell was it deemed one of the big five that get into the final automatically, or have I misread the situation?

Yes you have... the founding members always get to the finals. Re our entry... not my taste but it's aimed at age 12 - the largest demographic for singles buyers.
