Having taken your advice based on your knowledgeable argument probably the best part of two years ago, I thank you very much, it saved me several thousand pounds,should I now unload the 300tl(emergency fund) I have left?!

Hedge Fund - if you are asking me what my take is on this I have learned not to offer it now... I simply offer information and people make up their own minds. The usual route when I post is attacks on me as a person, how I spend my time, or that I am out of my mind etc. because my take usually goes outside of the mainstream therefore I no longer air my views because its not about me. I am simply sharing information so that people can draw their own conclusions. For those who do not do any critical thinking or research then... nothing to see here... move along. Thank you for your interest

How sad. You have my sympathy Mr. D. I too have suffered personal attacks because my views or not "mainstream". What a pity it is allowed on this forum.
