Poison Lake in Lefke?

Hi
Anyone know where this is? Tried to find it today but no luck, even with our psudo Sat Nav. Which BTW is amazing. Its an app called maps.me on iOS. You download the map before hand so no internet usage is required.

If you're referring to the reservoir, head to the back of Lefke, where the school is. Turn right and head towards the cemetery. Park at the cemetery and head right past the cemetery on the track which leads to the reservoir. I don't know of any other expanse of water in the Lefke area. When the reservoir is almost empty you can see the different colours of the pollutant sediment - red and green mainly. The only other possibility is the area by the sea at Gemikonagi which is hidden by a large ridge from the road. Both of these areas were part of the old CMC (Cyprus Mining Corporation) which abandoned the area during the troubles. Greek Cypriots worked at one installation and Turkish Cypriots at the other, which lays a lie to the myth that they always got along famously. If you use the internet there is lots of wonderful info about the CMC and Lefke.
