Now HSBC Bank has closed are TEB and Garanti banks still issuing sterling. If they are. Do they have branch's in Girne?

TEB is next to where the old branch of Mr Pound was, near the roundabout up to Lefkosa road. Guaranties has a new branch near the general hospital. Guaranties has an ATM in the car park of Lemar in Karakum, near the Pia Bella and one on the Catalkoy road by the leather showroom, almost opp Ya Belles.

Keith I think if Aripointer asked if the banks had branches in Girne, he did not know so would not know where they were. An answer of yes is a little short when someone asked for advice.

Better than no answer at all as a lot of questions on here end up getting. Once the first question has been answered then the person can amplify the question with further information such as the direction they are coming from, where they are currently based, have there been any problems with any of them, when was the last time they were used by the person replying and so on. Keith only follows the GIGO system of reply which is always best!

For instance: The Garanti Bankasi ATM opposite Catalkoy Ya Beles had Sterling in it's dispenser at 06:15 this morning and was in full working order.

Useful if coming from the Tatlisu area but no so much if coming from Lapta.

Theres also a new TEB cash machine in Lemars Karakum

Isbank ATM's often have sterling (and euro and usd as well).
