Other half went to Mavromatis at Orphanides Mall today, well she would if it had been open.

The whole of the Orphanides Mall is closed for refurbishment until the end of November, a man was handing out a flyer in Greek & English.

Not before time it was a bit seedy.

I quite like seedy places.

i hope they do something with outside it looks very cheap and nasty

They had scaffolding up and a few men may have been working, so it looks like a full refurb. That said, end of November seems a bit enthusiastic for completion.

They've been threatening to do this for 2 years now and nothing has come of it. i used to go to a wonderful cookery equipment shop which closed and the Manageress told me they were supposed to be installing a mulitplex as well as upgrading most of the shops. We'll have to see what happens. Hopefully the car park will be better lit as well.

Sophie, The main Mall where Ikea, Debenhams etc are. Go on down the dual carriageway past Orphanides, You will come to a major roundabout with coloured balls on it - go straight across then 1st left and immediately left again, past Hamleys and take the next right on the roundabout and you are at The Mall.

Called Cyprus Mall.
