Our stand on our Smart LG TV got broken on transit, is there anywhere Karsiyaka, Lapta, Alsancak or even into Girne we can take and get fixed, thanks in advance, Sylvia

If it's the plastic 'built-in' stand (well, screwed on) that sits on a flat surface such as a table, then I wouldn't think that a satisfactory repair would be possible, considering that it has to take the weight of the TV and safely hold it upright.

I would recommend that you obtain a new stand.

It is rather unlikely that, given the very large number of models that have been produced, that anyone in Cyprus, North or South, would have a stand in stock for the specific UK model that you have, although you never know!

You have the choice of visiting every TV shop that you can find, with the pieces of the stand and the model number details to see if anyone has one, or would possibly be willing to order one for you, or having a look online and ordering one yourself.

Best of luck!

You could buy a new tv stand where your tv is hooked onto a bar of the stand. Hope this makes sense. Essentially it is a low table with a post at the back which takes the tv. They are available here but you will need to look for one!

Marks world in Karakum would be my first point of call , very helpful and knowledgable staff, the store is Opposite the Bikers Club ( Harley Davidson dealers ) http://marksworldcy.com/ or Halos trading who are an LG stockist , 200 metres from there https://www.halostrading.com/diger-led-tv.html

In either case , ensure that you run the TV thru a voltage regulator , have seen two rather expensive TV's fall victim to the voltage fluctuations that we enjoy as part of living here .

Alternatively, you can buy brackets and have it put up on a wall.

A bit of a bugger if you wanted to stand it on something in a Bay Window, and you don't have a spare bit of wall!

Something like this is probably easier to find or order than an original replacement

That's different, I've never come across anything like that!
