Laconic sell them. I'm not sure if Cartridge City is still around, or whatever it was called. He used to do his own refills and was up near the Pia Bella.

Thanks for the info.
The one near the Pia Bella is Cartridge Island, but as we are animal lovers, have stopped using them.
Will try Laconic.

What has Cartridge Island got to do with being animal lovers

The manager of the shop and his partner "dumped" 4 puppies (which they have admitted to) outside the Kyrenia Animal Rescue offices in Girne.

We are no longer using Cartridge Island for the very same reason. Nor will be using their bar either.

Looks as though their dumping action could have serious business repercussions from animal-loving expats. You reap what you sow!

And so, what do you think people should do with unwanted pups, which actually may have been dumped on them.....? We have had a crate of pups, plus older dogs 'dumped' by us......what are you supposed to do with them? You cant take them all in... I think that you should not be so quick to criticise and potentially harm someone's business unless you know the full story....like for example, were the pups theirs?

I have neither offered any criticism of anybody, not attempted to "potentially harm" anybody's business. I merely commented on the fact that previous posters were boycotting businesses and other like-minded animal lovers might do likewise. I think your post was ill-thought through and hasty in your implication. However, I suspect you will think otherwise.

All I was after was an alternative supplier for printer cartridges and answered a question and look where we are!!

mrsgee - I would not boycott the shop or the Sea Angel in Catalkoy without knowing the full story. It has been published on social media and the incident has been acknowledged by the people in question.
In my opinion, passing on their responsibilities to an Animal charity without their consultation and agreement is irresponsible in the extreme, especially as they were trying to deal with the distemper outbreak.......NO EXCUSES!!!

Well mrsgee, any further comment having had this explanation of FACT, plus your unwarranted attack against me for highlighting other posters' views?

tomsteel, I have not attacked anyone, I have simply tried to point out that there could have been a reason for leaving the pups on Kar doorstep, I do not know the full story around the pups, all I said was, I have seen it happen myself, where pups have been dumped, My question was, if this was the case, what do you think they should do? I certainly have not directed an 'unwarranted attack' against you, and really do not understand why you think I have, I was merely making an observation..... clearly I should not have done so..... end of!

Surely there must be other outlets than just in Girne? Gazimagusa, Guzulyurt, Lefkosa etc?

You can buy new printer cartridges at ALL Computer shops.

None of the ones that I have visited have a very wide selection, they tend to stock replacement cartridges for the printers that they sell/have sold in the past.

Whether any particular shop will stock the specific cartridge that you need is in the lap of the Gods

If the OP would care to state the exact cartridge type that they need, then there's a faint chance that someone may actually know, otherwise you're all just pissing in the wind...

A pal of mine bought ink and a syringe and filled up his own - not difficult I believe.
