Sorry about the boring posts.

I realise I have posted some quite boring questions today-such as where do I get this, and how do I do that etc.
And I apologise for this .

However, I have a question that has been puzzling me for some time:-

Given that it is a well known fact that buttered toast always lands butter side down, and a falling cat will always land on it's paws.
If I were to strap a slice of hot buttered toast to the back of my cat, buttered side up,(who is asleep next to me as I type this-and oblivious to my plan)-and then throw the cat out of a second story window-what would happen?

Would the cat ,sort of hover in mid air-given that the toast was try to pull the cat one way an the toast the other,or would it just spin round a lot.

I need to get out more I think.

1, You are going to have every animal lover on this Board after you.

2. All the dogs in Ozankoy would be after the cat.

3. The cat would lick the butter off the toast.

4. Yes! (Joke)

I am beginning to smell a rat, with all these stupid questions.
Come on mods sort this out.??

Will the rat have anything to do with the buttered toast or the cat? And how do we mod s sort this one out. Nothing illegal seems to have taken place. so far no one is off thread, and questions are raised to be answered. can't ask Soner to deal with this as he is still shaking off the flu, just as the cat might shake off the toast, so until this has run its course (with the rat and cat in flight) , I can't really lock it either.

Further answers on the back of a postage stamp, please.

Msg 2- Rose, how would it lick the butter off if the toast is strapped to it's back?
Msg 3-karmels-it was intended to be a thought provoking, comment rather than a threat to my cat(who is now on my lap and sharpening her claws on my kneecaps)
I was just trying to chivvy the forum up a bit-with some thought provoking stuff,as an apology to my, boring previous(But personally relevant) requests.
Not sure why I bother sometimes-and as for reporting me to mods??
Marions, I am surprised you even responded to msg 3 as I can only believe it was very tongue in cheek.

But after licking the butter off the toast would the cat come home or have concussion and get hopelessly lost

Thought provoking indeed. I will test the question later when I can catch a couple of the cats wandering around outside and throw them off our roof terrace. Will make sure there are no nosey neighbours watching.

I have seen both the cat and toast theories tested on science progs on TV but this puts a different slant on it altogether. Maybe you should contact Mythbusters and ask them to run a program on the topic.

You could always borrow Mr Schrödinger's cat, if he has opened the box, and if it's still breathing.

If you do, then I would suggest that wear thick gloves when preparing said moggie for this experiment, 'cos it's bound to be in a foul mood after old Erwin has finished messing it about...

No problem always wear armoured gloves when experimenting with our cats, between me and them we have plenty of battle scars.

belle, that's Quantum for you - you can never be entirely sure of anything

Actually, he died about 50 years ago, didn't he?

So God alone knows how old the cat would be!

A friend of mine had one by the name of Trex, at least I think it was Trex.

Every time he tripped over it, he shouted "Cooking Fat!" - or something similar

what has applause got to do with it>? (Clap). Please keep the party clean or someone will have to come out with a KibKom rubber and delete!

actually what I was going to write was a clean, simple statement, namely that 'One man's boring post is another man's oil rig/'

Dear Jock
Never having had 'The clap' personally , I must assume you are talking from experience?

Although anyone who is obviously over weight and wears a ladies dress combined with an overtight tee shirt is no doubt inclined to be a bit touchy?
