I recently checked Tukish Airline flights for next summer and found the LHR /Ercan /LHR flights had more than doubled in price over the same period this year (June-July).I wondered why they had done this but they must have been anticipating the Lira problems. I cannot see many paying over £1000 for a single business class flight on this route at least.I guess they are relying routes that produce hard currency to maintain their non Lira cash flows. Seems an odd way of going about it though.
