I can't open their web page. I entered -
http://www.lloydsbank.com and I immediately get this error message -
Sorry, an error has occurred [Error: 1007 ID: 18.60ff1202.1534502532.f59232]
I then used a VPN but it did not make any difference.
Could anybody please try for me? See if the same happens?

Thanks all for your help. I still can't get into the website. I'm beginning to think it's the laptop going funny.

Are you perchance using Google Chrome? Reason I ask is that a few websites have been playing up on me lately, not being able to sign in and getting error messages. I suspect it may be one of the add ons causing a problem, but cannot be bothered at this point in time, checking them out. I am now using another browser when I find that I have problems. If you are using Chrome, try signing in a new Incognito window (under File at the top of your browser) and see if that works out, or alternatively try using another browser.

I deleted firefox from my laptop a while ago as I had a problem with space and reduced all to a minimum - hoping to get a new one soon - I tried getting in today on BING and all was well today and it worked absolutely fine.
THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR HELP AND SUGGESTIONS

Alphamike, yes and I have minor but irritating problems and have not had time to find out why. Would be interested to hear what you find out

I haven't got a definitive answer for you yet. There are a few sites that I couldn't access properly, one being unable to sign in to BBC iPlayer, as an error message came up. I tried in Incognito mode and it worked. I then disabled all my add ons in Chrome, tried again, and could sign in no problem. I haven't yet tried to identify which add on is the problem, but will update when I do. There have been problems using Chrome on other sites too, but cannot think at the moment which ones. This has all been very recent and could be to do with Chrome showing HTTP websites as not secure, but am only surmising here, and haven't looked into it. It's far too hot to be faffing about with my laptop just now, unless it is something desperate that I can't work round.

Dippersgirl, just discovered that the extension which was causing me bother with BBC iPlayer was Skip Redirect. Now deleted from Chrome on my laptop. Don't suppose that has anything to do with your problem at all.
