steventina. My partner has used the Near East University faculty of dentistry. Absolutely amazing,
so professional so clean you eat your meals off the floor.
Staff immaculately dressed. Reasonable costs, depends on what you want doing.
You can just turn up to make appointment. They may see you there and then.

I use a dentist called Tulga who is above Creditwest, opposite the main Deniz Plaza shop. For someone like me who hates dentists I have found him understanding, painless and always willing to try and fit in with your budget, definately worth a call.
Tulga on 0533 8642947.

Has anyone had implants here? Could do with a couple. UK dentist told me to only get them done with a dentist who will give aftercare if any problems. Occasionally there are problems. Recommendations and cost? I also apparently need bone grafts. Getting older is yuk isn't it?

3, not sure about dental treatment in TRNC, but if I had the choice I would have implants done at a reputable surgery in Turkey. Just my opinion.

Thanks for recommendation.

The Boss went there as she had a bit of trouble.....he suggested a full mouth X-ray ..........which he recommended a nearby lab.....
They were brilliant...........TL 50.00 for x-ray PLUS a DVD with it recorded on as well.

Back to Tulga following day recommended special cream for gum trouble.....

Back next week for a refilling which had been a problem in the UK and here.................

Oh and said upfront filling will cost TL 160.00 .........................Did filling

Said see how that is a come back in couple of days.....................

THIS WAS THE THIRD VISIT including the first consultation..............................no money had passed hands.

Fourth visit.......fine tuning on filling...........................

Total cost....................TL160.00

And such a gent.......................may even try him myself.............

kathleen, I had implants with Nural Temelci. I found him excellent. I am not fond of dentists, but he was very good. Follow up care good too. Implants take up to 3 months for the end result, but well worth it. After wearing dentures for years, I now feel as if I have 'real' teeth again! Money well spent. The surgery is spotless, and the staff there are lovely. Good luck for tomorrow.
