Having just returned from the UK I would be interested in members views on the above.
I usually get approx 3-4 kurus less than the quoted mid rate from the exchange bureaus.
However I am being told that the difference now being offered is far greater.
Could I please ask members, especially east side to post the rate that they have received,
From which bureau and at what time. If possible check the mid rate being published at the time.
I think that this would be very interesting and helpful. I am also wondering whether I could get a better
Exchange rate at a bank?

We use the Limissol bank in Esentepe and consistently get a better rate than at exchange bureaus. You can check the approximate rate via this link http://english.limasolbank.com.tr
Only downside is that it has shorter opening hours but you can check the working hours on the same link at bottom left side.

Mid rate 8.03 exchange 7.75.
