it just goes to show that people don,t appreciate nasty people- bickering, pulling people up on their spelling,being abusive,. generally not being helpful which is what a forum should be all about. Bring on the next 500 the more the merryer(i think i misspelled this but who cares) away to go soner

I have been reading some disappointing postings on a 'rival' b oard (I say that, cos it is not really anything to do with competkitiveness but can't think of another suitable word) and so glad that we have not experienced that here yet.

well were all doing are best to try and make it worth doing, just need to see a bit more new posts coming in and things will soon get rolling

Went into Bestsellers in Karakum yesterday and signs up advertising the forum. Quite amusing as the lady in shop asked how to start a new posting..............

I like to think I have 'recruited' a few as I do tend to go on about how good the forum is, I think people join initially, just to shut me up.

But hey it works, now they all agree, KIBKOM, is the best.

Ian, Moderators are removing spammers on a daily basis. The ones that do not get through are cleared by me, these are bots that could only register could not attempt posting. Normally clear at end of day.

Soner, what are "bots" ?

Programmes set up to scroll through backend of websites, read the programming and then find forms to fill in and then complete forms automatically, but usually can not access further than "Captcha (coding only legible by humans).

Search engines send bots to websites to index sites on their listings.They read coding, content, and index appropriately.

gemini39 , just realiased that I am the owner and also tech support for the forum. Guess that is handy for the members, and me of course.

This is a great forum, happy, intelligent postings and no bickering. Think you are doing a great job Soner, well done. Will still drop in from time to time from Turkey and may even do a blog from Dalyan.

If you click on user control,then board preferences then scroll down the list to board style and you can change the colour to blue or purple then click submit.

Wow. We are now pushing the 800! But where are the posters? I am sure they have much that would enrich the forum. Come on guys and gals - speak to us.

Trouble is, summer takes you outdoors and away from the laptop etc. I find we are also not looking so much at downlads either and I lost several as they became out of date before we got round to watch them. Today is still damp and a bit cool, that's why I'm still here now!!
