From the Bellapais traffic lights, head towards Ozanköy, obviously!, At the roundabout head straight on not up towards Bellapais. Follow that road to the top, passing Matrushka restaurant on your right. Just around the bend at the top the tailor is on the right.

Christine re message. I did reply but it doesn't seem to have sent!
You can take a picture or a dress for him to copy. You can take your own material or he has a large selection at the shop. He also has a portfolio of pics of dresses that he has made. Good luck.

The phone number is 0533 886 3060, sorry I didn't notice the name but it seems to be in Dr Fazil Kuçuk Caddesi between Matruska restaurant ( shows as Dream Castle on Google maps) and the Mosque.

Thanks to this post I have had a dress taken up and the leftover piece made into a scarf 35TL. I've just picked up 4 pairs of trousers, all taken in, cost 75TL...

He is very busy so your items may not be ready when he says but he's a lovely man and I'm very pleased with his work.

I'm glad you're pleased with their work come_on_aylin. As you say, pick-up time can be a bit off but worth the wait.

Laura B, if you are coming from Esentepe, what are the directions please? Past China Bazaar?

Easiest from Esenteppe would be to stay on the coast road until you reach Lemar supermarket on the left hand side. Turn left by Lemar and head up the short road to the T junction. Turn left heading up to the Bellapais roundabout but go straight on there (second turning as a small road goes left) Follow the road past Matruska restaurant and the road goes down hill round a bend into the village. The tailor is on the RHS at bottom of the hill. He has parking outside.
There is a quicker route but it involves a lot of turns in the village.

or before you get to Lemars at the roundabout turn left at the top follow the road left then right to the t junction by Altinkaya hotel, turn left towards Bellapais roundabout follow Panchocat instructions.

If you know Yusufs Butchers shop the Tailors shop is 5 minutes walk, top of the road turn right shop is on the left.
