Dear members I have just got back from TRNC. While I was there I had my 'Black Pepper Tree' cut down to size as it was producing too much mess and would like advice on what I can plant in its place ? Just wanted something which looks nice; not much maintenance.

I am also planning to remove my Camaliye flower which runs along the middle of my garden . Looks nice however maintenance of it is killing me ! It grows so quickly . Each time I go to TRNC which is normally twice a year I have to get it trimmed about 3 foot at a time. I have been advised on jasmine flower ?

Any suggestions from you keen gardeners would be most appreciated

Deniz

I have found 2 types of trees within this forum; Flame and Jacaranda trees. Can anyone advise whether its possible for these 2 types of trees to be grafting ( asilama -is the Turkish spelling) to the Black Pepper Tree I had cut down in size ?

Any views on either a Jasmine or Frangipani tree replacing my Camaliye tree running down the middle of my garden which is on a metal frame ?

You can train a jasmine to run down your garden. They don't need much maintenance. Frangipani grows circular. They dont need maintenance, But drop their leaves. Our gardener needs to tidy up every week after it. Hope this helps.
