We were told part of a team of about 50 surveying everywhere so they can digitalise all land registry records, there are twp visits first general 2nd details property, then approx 3months after visit all the information gathered will be available to view at local mukhtars Office.

They are definitely not from the ROC.
They work for the TRNC Land registry.
The main guy in the party of three or four who is "drawing" the individual houses and noting measurements carries a clipboard and the official document he has explains in both Turkish and English exactly what they are doing and why as mentioned by Loobyloo.

The attachment shows my plot, my neighbour's and part of the Karsiyaka football stadium.

They certainly know how to charge!

I think that currently the Land Registry will charge you just over 30 TL to issue a copy of your Koçan

Yes they were round the site site called sweet homes?... apparently the apartment block at the front of the site should not even be there ? It’s in Küçükerenköy, I don’t know it but my best mate from Famagusta told me.

Just been to get my new "metric Title Deed" today. Cost 15tl
Only my name on the deed.
Took about 15 mins start to finish.
