I was informed that atlas jet were stopping their UK stansted route year - 2013 - indeed when i checked their system there are no flights after the 10th january 2013.
if any one has booked flights with them next year - i suggest you contact their call centre.

Pegasus on the other hand - still offer 2 or 3 flights daily from stansted...

If you have booked atlasjet flights on the internet - not through us -then I am affraid I cannot help you..
just thought this was quite important..

maybe they are going reschedule their flights...i don't know!

Thank you for the info! We have just called the airline and they said they will refund us, they couldnt offer us any other alternative airport! Does anyone know whats happened to them?

Maybe its connected to when Cyprus Turkish airlines collapsed Atlas took over the routes for a limited time so maybe that agreement is over. I hope they start up again as Pegasus show no signs of improving the service.

The time Atlas covered CTA finished less than 6 months after the collapse after the government screwed them.

Atlas started this service earlier this year, presumably as competition to Pegasus. Know someone who flew with them and the flight they took was priced about the same but with full service.

They obviously have good business reasons for withdrawing the service, maybe the Ercan route was just not profitable for them.

The few times myself or other half fly to UK we could not fault Pegasus.

Yes - I am the Pegasus representative...but we still sold Atlasjet.
I have to admit I was not surprised September 2011, my colleague and I had to call over 1000 customers to advise them their holiday flights had altered.
Atlasjet were flying STN - ECN - and just pulled the plug!!

It is a competitive market out there - and love them or hate them Pegasus are still there!
I do agree that their customer services leaves little to be desired - something I tell my boss on a regular basis!

But if you want to book with the a travel agent - Pegasus - I am your girl! I will tell you the cheapest option - us or the internet.
I can add meals and extra leg room seats onto internet bookings - i can hopefully answer all your enquiries.
If you book with the internet and then experience a problem, I am not supposed to help , but I will do my best if I can.

Big big shame, Atlasjet are so much better. My husband who is a regular flyer to the UK has just started using Atlasjet over the last few months and flew business class with them, they were great - looks like it's back to basics with Pegasus for him again !

Do Turkish Airlines fly from the Uk to Ercan?

yes - turkish airlines fly from heathrow, birmingham, manchester
possible gatwick...not sure.......
to Ercan - early booking - can get great prices!

libby. I will want a flight for 2 Ercan-Istanbul return around 3rd Dec what am I likely to pay?

There was a article in the Kibris yesterday I think, stating the old KTHY had been fined quite a lot of money ( £850.K ) I think?
If Atlas jet took over KHTH's routes would they be liable for this fine or who is as KTHY are no longer.

Karmels, it hasn't been compromised! - the Forum software tries to interpret various text sequences as 'smilies' and it seems that it is currently interpreting two consecutive zeros as a 'smiley' that isn't even in the 'gallery'! - actually, it is! - I just spotted it, it's called 'surprised', appropriately enough

I've PM'd Soner, he'll sort it out in a Jiffy, no doubt..
