Anybody seen this yet? It is currently on Netflix.

Basically, it’s a show about a guy who goes around the world to places usually off the beaten track. In one of the episodes he comes to Cyprus and tries to sneak across the border. After failing he crosses properly and then tries to sneak into the forbidden city in famagusta.

The guy actually comes over as a bit of an idiot but it’s interesting to watch. Has a bit of the history of the troubles in it too. Worth a quick watch if you have Netflix.

More coverage of South / North Cyprus last night on BBC 2. Mediterranean with Simon Reeve. Just on downloading it now. Should be interesting, he is usually quite good.

Just watched it and I thought it was pretty good. As ever, a very balanced view with no sides taken. If anything, he was quite sympathetic about the embargo placed on the TRNC.
