Residency initial application UPDATE

What value of stamps are needed for the first application for residency (at the police station stage)? I have tried searching but couldn't find anything. Thanks.
Update: For anyone interested, I helped my friends do their first application for residency today. The amount of stamps needed for the pink book is currently 18.50TL.

None. Your muhter letter requires a stamp. You then do not stamps until the Lefkosa stage.

Are you sure Tomsteel? I thought you needed stamps for the first application. I've done it 12 times now so can't remember!

dont you need them for the pink book?
BRS says 13.50TL

Yes I think so Kerry. The 13.50 is for the passport but need to know how much for the pink book.

Don't fret it, if you need stamps the little cafe (Zeno's) is right on the corner by the entrance to the police station - they know what you need and can sell you them as well.

joandkelly..for the passport? so when you are resident in the north you can also get a turkish passport?

No you get a visa stamp in your passport which also needs stamps aswell as a pink book with photo and stamps
