I have a (UK) Vodafone phone, which works perfectly in TRNC (without roaming charges at the moment), but last week (afte online problems) I discovered I could not top up at a (branded!) Vodafone shop - so I had to buy a Telsim simcard. Telsim is part of the Vodafone organisation, so naturally when back in the UK, that simcard will log into the UK Vodafone network.... Won't it?
Not a chance; so as I cannot use it (keep it active) when I return, it will be "not recognised/expired" - just as on two previous occasions....
