We wanted to go there but could not gain entry.

Erenköy / Kokkina - Κόκκινα is nothing more than an outpost for the Turkish Army.
If you download the KibApp and click on "Map to Towns" you will see it is the furthest town west on the north coast within the enclave.

As you go over the border you are immediately in a lovely Greek Cypriot coastal village you can drive to the entrance to the camp but no further. There are some nice cafes and pubs there.
