does anyone know where i can buy knitting wool (east of girne preferably)

There is quire a good shop in Girne. Go down the high street to the jewellers on the left. Turn left into the road which takes you to the big1001 shop. About 20 yards along the road there is a small alley on the left. Go up there, the shop is on the left.
Hope that makes sense!

There is another opposite the big Kibtek power station near the Wednesday market in small parade of shops there are clothes and school uniforms in the window the wool is upstairs crammed with stuff.

There is also another wool shop in Girne. Go down the high street and past the crossroads and it is just on the left about 6 shops down from the crossroads.

I have used the one by the power station as mentioned by Deniz1. Excellent choice of wools and very helpful.

went to girne,directions were great and found both shops there, where i purchased some wool.
