KAR has won - Santa Paws is coming to TRNC

Fantastic news - KAR has won the international Santa Paws drive - they are 1 of just 6 winners from across the world who will be receiving special Xmas cheer this year. If you look at Santa Paws Drive face book page you will see, displayed alongside the flags of Georgia and Hungary, the TRNC flag - these are the only 3 winners announced so far. The official announcement of all 6 winners will take place on Monday.
Well done KAR and a big big thank you to everyone who voted for them.

KAR could do with a boost at the moment I am sure.

How tickled I am to hear this! So glad I can say i am part of it by giving my vote and tyring to encourage others. Great news for KAR, and great news for the TRNC.
Yes, I am definitely tickled pink - now that is real PAWS for thought.

Whew, the waiting has been tense, but KAR made it. Wonderful. Great to see the TRNC flag up there with the rest. Just goes to show, there is some justice in the world.

Wonder if the government here will also be proud and pleased enough to give a little more support to KAR who do such marvellous work here with very little thanks.
A bit off topic but I wondered whether they had managed to get charitable status yet which would give them freedom from the dreaded KDV?
What on earth would we do without them?

SHL, KAR has had charitable status for a long time now. The registered number appears on all paperwork i.e. 02/2003 As to being exempt from KDV - don't even go there!!
