Has anyone ever had a magazine subscription here? I'd like to get one as a christmas gift for someone but I'm not sure it can be done. The recipient does get mail delivered.

I'm crossing my fingers as I type, but yes, we have had a monthly magazine delivered every month for 3 years now and only lost one February edition two years ago. It comes in the usual see through plastic folder and delivered to our PO Box number, We gave the publishers our Post Code when first subscribing. Good luck.

Have you heard of readly.com?

You can download over 3000, magazines a month for 7.99 a month. You can share with 4 other people. So, if you are into golf, cooking, cheshire life or similar, horse riding its a great app.

Also PressDisplay; enter 800147197 in the 'Barcode/Library card No.' and off you go - and it's free!

if you still have a UK library card you should be able to log onto the online library to access magazines and publications....

Daisy Dukes, looks like you and I are a couple of old fuddy duddies. Still prefer to read a good quality magazine, particularly if it's a present!

KC, people will start to think that you and I don't like each other. Perhaps we should dissuade them?
