Help! message stuck in outbox, How do I send it?
It doesn't want to go whatever I do. I even edited it and resubmitted it.
Any ideas?

I had this problem a couple of times.

Create a new email, copy and paste old email into the new one. Do not send new email until you have deleted the old email in the Outbox. I am presuming you are using Outlook.

No I am talking about the Private message area of this site

Then it probably has been sent, it sits in the Outbox until recipient opens it. That's just to let you know that recipient has not read your mail yet.

I thought it would appear in sent messages once sent.

It should end up in sent messages once opened by recipient.

Pete I know how you feel. I too struggled to "send" and spent time trying to sort out what I thought was a malfunction. Luckily the recipient opened it within the hour. Perhaps we should employ the parlance of an electrician AC/DC. ie "Delayed Completion" and when sent "Action Completed" Not a very bright spark am I !
