Hi Everyone,

I`m guessing insurance doesn`t cover natural disasters.. We are unscathed here in our road in Ozankoy and I feel like I`m in a bubble seeing all the devastation on Facebook. My heart goes out to the families and friends of those who lost their lives.

We have a spare room, a car, washing machine, fully functioning kitchen and I`ll put someone up, cook, deliver food, wash/clean, whatever I can do - if I can help in any way I will. My phone number is 0533 870 3673.

Hi Piper,

Thanks for that. We were on the receiving end when we moved here, house was a disaster, it was the middle of a heat-wave and electrics were shot, you name it, our daughter was just 6. People fed us, helped us clean up, loaned us their cars, offered us their bedrooms and when we were setting the shop up and working til silly o`clock at night people brought us food. They still bring us food Its heart wrenching seeing what`s happened around us and I hope if anyone can use us, they call.

Cypriot hospitality as I remember from the early 70s. Thank you, Karen and Yusef for restoring my faith in humanity. We live close to Kucuk Erenkoy and have spare bedrooms x 2 if that will help somebody over this difficult period.
