Snow in the troodos

Was hoping to do a bit of skiing up in the troodos this Christmas, but still no snow as of yet.
Is it common for it to snow up there in December or is it later in the season?

Someone told me that they are due snow this week, whether it'll give enough cover for skiing is anybody's guess. You can check out one of the slopes here

I think they had a little bit of snow today actually according to Instagram and the cyprus mail. That web cam doesn’t show it though for some reason.
