I got a little Samsung phone from the turkcell shop in girne. Cost me about 200 TL and they put the SIM card in, registered for me etc. Phone was a bit of a blast back to the naughties for me but allowed phone calls and text messages which is all I needed it for. Saved registering my iPhone.

Teknostop opposite Erdener supermarket. Sell basic Samsung phones.
Good small family business. English speaking

Baseline on the corner of the roundabout that goes down to the New Harbour sell Samsung models. Not sure of the price, but not expensive.

Sony and Ericsson parted company a while back. Both now sell their own handsets.... without a brand partner.
