I thought recently there was a list published somewhere of dates, mainly Sundays I think, when different points would be affected.

I see Ay Nic is not on the list - is it still open to the public now Derinia is open?
And what are the protests about anyway?

Why don't we reciprocate on Friday and Saturday nights when they come over to gamble? And also ban Greek cars from buying petrol that should put the cat among the pigeons

Aya Nick will never close in the near future as it is a UK base, they told me last week when I went over.

Thanks DieHard, its far easier to go up that road than negotiate Paralimni, then through the new crossing and central Famagusta. Was asking as someone , well connected to British military, told me a while ago that it would revert to 'official and UN traffic only'. What a relief.

Does anyone have anymore information on these protests as my husband has a flight on Sunday and will be crossing over through the Metehan which looks like it could be affected that day. Thanks
