Is anyone finding using the listed postcodes successful for receiving post?

It has not made a noticeable difference to us in Dipkarpaz

My friend sent two parcels of colostomy bags this year, one to a PO Box in Catalkoy with the postcode and the other to a PO Box in Girne without the postcode. The one sent to Catalkoy was stopped at Mersin and either sent back or destroyed because on the customs declaration label he had put Medical Supplies. The one to Girne came on through - exactly the same customs declaration. So your guess is as good as mine but I have been told that the parcel sorting system in Mersin is now computerised and will regularly stop parcels/post with anything medical declared - obviously not all the time through!!
