Combi boiler problems

Morning.

Does anyone have an Airfel combi boiler? It's now around 5years old and has been maintained regularly.
Are replacement parts easy to obtain, if so from where?

We have had the boiler cleaned and inspected but whilst the CH heating works, the boiler will not heat the water and keeps switching itself off, which makes us think that there is a need for a replacement part.

Any advice, information, a man who knows would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Love life, if the outflow temperature hits the low 90 degrees the heater will switch off (a safety feature).
The device is a small thermal switch on the outflow pipework from the heat exchanger. If the switch is faulty it will give the same effect of shutting down the heater, then allowing it to restart when it cools.
A very simple test of the switch would be to either remove it from the pipework (screwdriver job only) or remove the two wires to it (low voltage push on connectors) and short the two wires together.

You could always just check to see if your taps are full of shale! Loads of water - both hot and cold - are easily solved by unscrewing the filter off the end of your water outlet on your taps and cleaning it out. This time of year they tend to fill up with sand like stuff, give it a shot, it's free coz you can do it yourself!!
