Problem with skype

I am having a problem signing into Skype on my laptop it keeps telling me I have no internet connection for skype, yet everything else is working great. Any? computer literate person out there who could visit and sort it out for me? I live in the Ozankoy_- Catalkoy area, tel 0533 8208643. any help would be gratefully received. Thanks in advance.

Have you tried uninstalling and then re-installing Skype?

Loathe to do this as I have a fairly substantial amount of credit so do not want to take the chance of losing it. But thanks anyway

You won't lose your credit as this is tied to your account Doesn't matter what device you login on - your credit will always show.
