sorry folks, I cannot for the life of me find the original posting on this with the question as to whether it waspossible here to transfer video 's to DVD's. as promised I am giv ing the answer in full:

1. Yes they can.
2. Cost is 10tl each (maybe if you had a job lot it could be done cheaper????)
3. Yucel's do it (others may but that is all I know for now.)
4. Yucel's have two shops but the best one for accessbility - parking etc) is past the HSBC bank in town , which is past Cine Miles.

Hope that helps whoever it was who asked. a senile moment for Marion? Never!

There used to be a dvd/cd shop almost opposite Coffee World. They did loads for me, and did a very good job.

Is that Tektan the elecgtric people, or somewhere else. I assume it is near to Tektans. the good thing is that our origina,l poster (assuming they read this) can be assured that it is possible for him to do what he wants and well worth bringing the video tapes with him.

No Marion, it was a shop run by a TC family who had moved back from Canada, but I can't remember the name. Of course, it may no longer be there, I left 4 years ago!

The shop was on the opposite side of the High St from Coffee World, a little further down the hill.
