Is someone else's drinking giving you a problem?
For over 55 years, Al-Anon (which includes Alateen for younger members) has been offering strength and hope for friends and families of problem drinkers. It is estimated that each alcoholic affects the lives of at least four other people... alcoholism is truly a family disease. No matter what relationship you have with an alcoholic, whether they are still drinking or not, all who have been affected by someone else’s drinking can find solutions that lead to serenity in the Al-Anon/Alateen fellowship.
Discover what you can or can't do to help a friend or loved one stop drinking.
Alcoholism is a family disease. In Al-Anon we learn we are not responsible for another's disease, or recovery from it.
Find solutions which can lead to your serenity.
No matter how bad things may seem now, there is always hope.
Anonymity is major tenet of our traditions.
You will no longer be alone.
Al-Anon is not a religious organization or counselling agency.
Everyone who is experiencing a problem with alcohol abuse in a friend or relative is welcome come along and meet new friends who can offer you support and understanding.
