I have had 2 sets from 2 different places, neither are official but they purchase from them. Mert Garage in Alsancak 100tl fitted. Yapi market next to pools r us. 80tl fitted myself. They source from the official places. Official price is 60tl (I think) but I don't object to them marking up as convenient for me.

Thanks for all advice I got them in town near Bateys. Tried several places but was offered stickersto cover mine or new plastic ones. But I went for the official alloy ones with the funny 0 zero.

I'm sure I saw one or two cars over the weekend who appeared to have blue stick-ons. Wasn't prepared to break a nail to test out my theory though. Anyone else seen the same thing?

A few days in there are still quite a lot that haven't bothered.
Considering the fine compared with the cost of having them it is surprising. It is also an easy catch for the police, you don't have to do random stops and checking of documents.

I have done a few count ups whilst travelling and also in car parks. It seems to be 1 in 20 of there about 5%. I think that is quite a good take up here to be honest.

Lots of police out and about in and around Lefkosa today pulling cars over, I assume for non-compliance.

I think the 'funny zero' is there to distinguish it from a capital O.
