Having used the above for about 9 years quite happily it suddenly stopped working so off I trot to Turkcell oh they said we need your passport which was at home all the way back to Catalkoy I go then back to Turkcell. The reason its not working is because it isnt registered she said. Why didnt you send me a message then with that information as you tell me when my internet is nearly finished? Oh we dont she said. Still it is working now I received a message saying thank you for registering your modem. Its CYPRUS!

It is another example of lack of forethought/inefficiency in a country wanting recognition. Turkcell is hardly a small organisation. Does it have an R and D Department, Customer Relations Department et al - rhetorical! Nine years usage and suddenly not registered!!! Beggars belief in a modern, commercial environment.

I was under the impression that you only needed to register items brought in from abroad but its not so.

Absolutely ridiculous. Who would have thought after 9 years usage that it would stop working due to requiring to be registered? KKTCell really need to be pulling their socks up in the customer relations department, they are absolutely useless.
