Can anyone adise me of the going daily rate for painter ?

Its my experience over the years that there is no set rate, and if you think about it, why should there be. He is worth what he is worth. If you think its too much, then shop around and listen to recommendations from other people.

A quick search on this forum will bring up many recommendations for painters.
Everyone will no doubt have a favourite, as we do.
Send me a pm if you want to know who we have used and why.
Of course there is cheap and cheerful which is fine or there is something a little more professional which will generally last longer. Remember that the extreme temperatures due to the ravages of the heat and sun in the summer plus the rain and wind in the winter means that external paintwork unless done well will tend not to last very long.
