Hi.Anyone knows a good shoe glue that actually works?

The gunk that the shoe mender in Karaoglanoglu uses has always worked wonders as far as we're concerned. Can't speak for everyone else though.

where can i get some of that gunk from?

Perhaps go and see the Cobbler at Karalanaglu.

Where is the cobbler in Karaoglanoglu please? I have some boots that need reheeling.

Coming from, say Lapta, direction. Take the first turning on the right after the PO. He's about 50yards on the RHS after the Muhtar office. A small one storey white building. He tends to close for hour and half at mid day. Wonderful guy. Has mended boots, shoes, suitcases, handbags, belts and best of all made brand new pairs of shoes from scratch. Tiny little place, so drive slowly or you'll miss it. BTW, has just revamped a pair of 40yr old loafers. Super job!!!!

Had shoes repaired (new sole and stitching) by the cobbler in K.......glu.
